Call For Speakers and Experts for Creative Ukraine Forum

With current call the Programme is looking for speakers and experts (including trainers, moderators and facilitators) for the International Forum “Creative Ukraine - Creative Economy as a Driver for Growth & Sustainable Development” taking place in Kyiv on October 19-20th, 2017.

 

The main organiser of the forum is Ukrainian Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the EU-EaP Culture and Creativity Programme and the collaboration takes place in the framework of series of National Cultural Forums organised but the Programme in each EaP country. The National Cultural Forum activities in Ukraine will be shared between two events – Ukrainian Design Forum in September will focus on design thinking specifically, the Creative Ukraine Forum organised mainly by the Ministry of Culture will be looking at wider range of issues around creative industries development.

 

The forum is aimed to promote and enforce the perception of “culture” and “creativity” as drivers for growth and sustainable development as well as interconnection of economic, social, environmental and cultural dimensions of societal well-being with inclusive public policy-making support. More specifically the event is purposed to contribute to:

  • Sharing of the EU and EaP countries best practices & experience on promotion of CCIs leading to strengthening their impact on social, economic and human development;
  • Raising awareness of Ukrainian cultural managers & practitioners, representatives of civil society and business, as well as researchers & public policy-makers on financial and other support available for cultural institutions and creative businesses maturing;
  • Promotion of inter-ministerial & public-private cooperation on elaboration of public policies for national and regional cultural and creative industries support;
  • Laying the ground for establishing and developing «Business+Government+Community» strategic alliances supporting and promoting CCIs development at local, national and international.

 

The event is open to professionals from CCIs sectors, representatives of business and civil society institutions and organisations, researchers and policy-makers from Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries and EU Member States.
