CHOREA Theatre (Łódź, Poland): Intensive Workshops (fee payable)

MP

Chorea Theatre is holding a series of workshops. From the organisers:

CHOREA Theatre Intensive Workshops
"BODY / MOVEMENT / VOICE" – MULTIDIMENTIONAL ACTOR"
15-18th March 2017

CHOREA Theatre Workshops are based on intensive actors training. They focus on waking up the organicity of an actor, by working with the body, dynamic movement, voice, rhythm and musicality, and on applying all these means of expression simultaneously into one stream of action. The workshops also focus on the concept of the collective actor, based on intensive work with a partner and multidimensional, polyrhythmic and polyphonic ways of working with the group.

CHOREA's method of work consists of two main qualities: intensity and risk - both physical and resulting from the necessity to overcome one's own limitations and exceed one's own abilities. CHOREA workshops go beyond presenting and teaching techniques. They work to activate the creativity of each participant ant the group, and create a dynamic, creative, artistic meeting.
