DCLINIC studios Residency Programme (Lendava, Slovenia)
D’CLINIC is an artist-run space designed to deliver a supportive community where artists can focus on their own creative practice and/or research, share skills and knowledge, interact or collaborate in a vibrant multidisciplinary environment free from constraint, harshness or formality.
We believe the art-creation process is something sacred and thus we assist our artists as much as possible in order for them to concentrate solely on their production. Artists are enabled to work intensively and independently in an encouraging and intimate environment.
D’CLINIC supports both established, mid-career as well as emerging arts practitioners; regardless of whether visual artist, musician, curator, theorist, writer,…
We created different artists-in-residence frameworks (or as we call them research-platforms) for you to choose from – depending on what you wish to achieve while spending time in this extravagant European region :
TRACTOR

· and cross-disciplinary collaboration to regenerate your creative dynamism while learning valuable insights from other art forms

Applicants are expected to give a clear vision/ idea about their stay in the residency. Your plans however do not have to be ‘engraved to stone’ so you may change them later if you want. Overall artistic freedom is one of our key values and all our residents will have it. The information is required for us to make sure we are able to provide the relevant expertise and facilities for your project. But also because, we’d like to keep the place a CREATIVE CENTER and prevent it from turning into a “holiday resort”.

+ we need to receive your application at least 2 weeks before the planed start of the residency period
+ you cannot select a date outside the current calendar year. If you’re looking further into the future, please follow our other open calls.
WHAT IS INCLUDED & PROGRAM FEE
As an N.O.W. resident you will be provided all the same comfort & assistance than any other guest artist, depending on the chosen programme i.e. residency framework TRACTOR, SHOVEL or MiXER

FEE
While the program fee is also defined by the residency program you will be adapted to; the registration/deposit fee for N.O.W. applicants is 200 €. (the rest is settled at arrival)
