Atelier for Young Festival Managers Valletta, March 2019
The Festival Academy (an initiative of the European Festivals Association - EFA), calls for applications for the 15th Atelier for Young Festival Managers, to take place from 23 to 29 March 2019 in Valletta, Malta, organised in partnership with Festivals Malta.
Up to 35 participants will gather in Valletta for an intense 7-day programme to have a global conversation about today’s challenges and the role art and culture can play in these.

The Atelier for Young Festival Managers offers the opportunity to emerging arts festivals managers to widen their horizon, broaden their programming skills and to become part of a network of exceptional people working in festivals around the world. During panels, workshops and field visits the programme focuses on topics raised by the participants and tackles issues as artistic vision, accessibility, sustainability and fundraising, technology, fair international collaborations and the role of festivals in a society in transition, guided by outstanding festival and cultural leaders and activists from across the globe.
Festival Production Management Training 2019
Production managers working in the festival field are invited to apply until 30 September for the three module Festival Production Management Training 2019, with Module I taking place in Antwerp, BE (16-19 January 2018) organised in partnership with deSingel International Arts Campus.
