Global Call for Video Artists & Filmmakers for the 2nd edition of Passive Activists
Global Call for the first digital generation to comment on social, individual, political, economic and environmental structures all around the world. The project ‘Passive Activists’ provides a platform for experimental video art that plays with a certain morality: to question the system without burning directly existing houses. Instead of considering the artist as a radical or activist, the artist gets more or less the role of a philosopher or anthropologist.
How to Participate:

Participants have to send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Title
- Short description (max. 150 words)
- Year
- Duration
- Link to artists website
- File (WeTransfer /or a link with password to YouTube or Vimeo)
Deadline: May 20, 2018 (23:59 pm, CEST)
Artists with selected work will be provided with an honorarium of 100 euros. Selected artists will hear from us before June 4, 2018. The selected works will be presented as a marathon screening and/or on individual screens. First screening will be at June 8, 2018 during Hoogtij.
