Milan International Choreographic Competition / MICC

MICC is an event created to invite young choreographers to challenge themselves by presenting their work in front of a prestigious jury. The selection for MICC is open to (pre-) professional students. The aim of this event is to share personal work with other creative, passionate and artful dancers and to win the unique prize of € 650,00 plus the invitation to participate to an international festival.


The video selection will bring on stage a number of max 5 groups during the final evening. To enter the application every group must send an email to [email protected]ail.com attaching the enrolment forms, the video link uploaded on Vimeo or Youtube and the proof of payment. (Only public videos will be accepted)


Price of application:

€ 15,00 application before the 20th of December 2017

€ 20,00 application before the 15th of January 2018


*These prices are exclusively to apply for the selection process. The selected groups will be asked to pay a final fee for the enrolment to the final evening.



Each piece must be min. 8 minutes and max. 10 minutes long with a discharge of 5’’ max. The group can be composed by min. 3 and max. 15 dancers and each member must be over 16 years old.


The evaluation is made based on these criteria:

  • Choreographic composition
  • Music choice and use of it
  • Group identity
  • Choreographic creativity

This is our motto: to celebrate dance in all its forms and its facets, emphasising in particular the elegance, the technique and the artistic talent.The aim of the competition is to be able to discover the young talents who will represent our future; offer them the opportunity to perform on a stage in front of a professional jury and to give them the opportunity to work with qualified teachers, through the awarding of scholarships for prestigious schools in Italy and abroad.

IDC Talent Garden 3.0 is a dance competition for young talents and non professionals that are coming closer to the arts world, so professionals are not allowed to partecipate. The applications are open to everybody, without race distinction, religious ideas, political and/or connection to a precise sport promotion entity.
