MitOst Festival proposals: Deadline approaching

From the organisers:

Submit your proposal for the festival programme until 18 July!

The five day festival 2017 will offer plenty of space and time for reflection, learning, co-creating and celebrating in a wide range of different formats. As always, the programme is shaped by your ideas and involvement. Share your knowledge in a workshop, organise a vivid discussion or stage an exhibition – in short: we invite you to co-create the programme with us!

You can submit your programme proposals until 18 July via the programme application form. These are the main topics 2017:

  • Do you have ideas how to implement participatory approaches or how to improve collective creative processes? Would you like to present or further develop an existing project together with the festival participants? Feel free to approach the festival as your proving ground for co-creation and participation!
  • We also encourage ideas which actively promote and advance cross-border networking, European cohesion and the connection of actors involved in these topics. Let’s try finding new ways to realise visions of a peaceful, free and fair Europe and get involved with your own programme slot on migration, inclusion and sustainability! Regarding these issues, we want to encourage exchange, support and inspiration within our network.
  • As in previous festival editions, we would also like to put an emphasis on programme ideas concerning capacity building, under the heading “MitOst-Academy.” We are looking forward to learn about new or already approved approaches on mastering structural challenges within civil society initiatives as well as to ideas on how to create profitable and sustainable models of social innovation. If you would like to share your experiences about cross-sectoral collaborations, please feel invited to contribute to the programme, too.
  • As event organisers, we would like to improve the communication, networking and sharing dynamics during the festival for some time already. “Who is who?,” “Where can I find…?,” “How can I get to know about spontaneous activities during the event?” If you know creative methods, have ideas how to set-up venues differently or improve communication during the festival, please share your ideas with us!

We are looking forward to your ideas and questions! Please note that contributors to the programme need to register for the festival.
