East European Performing Arts Platform (EEPAP) supports the
development of contemporary performing arts (dance and theatre)
in 18 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
NPN: Co-Production Fund for Dance & International Guest Performance Fund for Dance (Germany)
To increase sustainable networking and international promotion of German contemporary dance, the NATIONALES PERFORMANCE NETZ (NPN) has two support models:
> The NPN Coproduction Fund for Dance advances the creation of new dance productions. The artists’ origins are irrelevant; however, production must take place in Germany to a substantial degree. The involvement of international partners as co-producers increases the chances for support, but is not absolutely necessary. Programmers are not the only ones eligible to apply; individual artists and companies can do so as well. The applicant must be the executing producer and headquartered in Germany. In addition, at least one of the German production partners must be a producer or programmer (e.g. festival, venue or production unit). The funds can range from 10.000 to 50.000 EUR and no more than 50 % of the productions costs.
> The NPN International Guest Performance Fund for Dance supports international programmers, when they invite productions that were created in Germany while offering certain minimal wages that are based on standard NPN rates. The ones eligible to apply are the invited companies/ invited artists based in Germany. The categorization into three different country groups regulates the respective levels of support.
Please note: thee beginning of the project/ guest performance can be no earlier than April 1st, 2017.
