Sylwia Śmigiel

Warsaw Flow 2015 is the 6th edition of Poland's only international festival of contact improvisation (CI), one of the most dynamically developing dance genres across Europe, including Poland. Warsaw Flow is different to traditional events of this kind as it focuses not on showcasing but on developing dance pieces, and offers artists a chance to learn with excellent teachers in a creative atmosphere that stimulates exploring CI by professional dancers (of different advancement levels) and amateurs alike.

The 6th International Contact Improvisation Festival – Warsaw Flow is taking place on 1st –6th of July 2015 in Warsaw. Go to www.polandcontactfestival.com to register for the event and the preceding SKIN project for dancers. • 2 intensive projects,
  • 6 performances,
  • site-specific actions,
  • an open stage,

The festival will be preceded by a special project for dancers. As part of SKIN, Daniela Schwartz and Eckhard Müller will take participants on a quest to find out "How to attain maximum readiness to improvise, be fully present when accepting the unknown, and access all possibilities it offers?".
