The workshop incorporates a common reflexion and a practical, creative process around the following questions: How can we integrate digital technologies in performing arts? What do we mean by reactivity or interactivity and how can it be connected to movement ? From the technical point of view we concentrate on sensor sensing. From the artistic point of view we put a special focus on installations that by using digital tools trigger movement composition and that way shift the traditional roles of dancer/choreographer/audience member or are based on cooperative aesthetics.

The workshop is part of the project STELLA, which is co-financed by the Governments of Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
