International Workshop

The international program is open for performance and movement practitioners from all over the world interested in acting, theatre biomechanics, movement and physical theater. 

 

The program is designed primarily for movers, dancers, actors of physical theatre, contemporary circus performers, choreographers and directors who wish to bring the life presence into their performance. You may be an actor or dancer who wants to diversify your skills and knowledge, you may work with actors (a dance or movement teacher, or a theatre director with a movement history), or be a practitioner from an allied field of sport/holistic practice, wanting to enhance your understanding of practical/theoretical interfaces regarding movement in contemporary performance.

You will have the opportunity for the development of your understanding of the actors movement and application of this knowledge to work with actors and to performance making. You will be able to gain a valuable knowledge on how to tell story through the actors' bodies. 

The workshop is designed as the introductory session to performers physical training, movement for actors sessions and composition of the movement on stage, relying on some elements of Russian theatre tradition of theatre biomechanics and the newest experiments in performing arts, such as animal flow. 

The workshop is a great opportunity to approach a unique methodological and practical material that will enrich your professional skills and will offer you the possibility to share an intense creative experience at a global level!

 

The working language is Russian and English.
