The East European Performing Arts Platform are now open for applications to the First Residence Programme of 2012.

The EEPAP board, together with EEPAP Members and partner festivals, are now offering two separate two-week residencies for the autumn and winter of 2012. The target groups includes performing arts curators, critics, producers, playwrights and dramaturges.

Application deadline for the First Residence Programme 2012 has been postponed to August 5th, 2012.

Conditions:

Each residency will start a week before this year’s festivals and continue throughout the duration of the festivals. Curators, critics, managers and producers are supposed to participate in the final festival preparations and take active roles during the festival or be involved in the festival coproduction.

The MESS - 2 residency is supposed to last for one week and will take place during Mark Ravenhill's workshop.

The successful applicants will be provided with free accommodation, plane tickets and a stipend to cover living expenses. The size of the stipend depends on the price of living expenses.

Eligibility:

Residents of Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan (EU Eastern Partnership Programme) working in the field of performing arts.

Eligible Profiles: Curators, programme managers and producers from the performing arts festivals as well as, independent performing arts institutions and project in Eastern Partnership Countries.

Critics, playwrights and dramaturges dealing with contemporary theatre and dance are encourage to apply as well.

Proficiency in English and one more language that native is presupposed.   

There is no age limit.

Please prepare an individual submission, including:

  • Short, clear motivation letter
  • Short summary of previous work experience (up to 2 pages)
  • CV (max one page)
  • Filled application form

The submissions will not be returned.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made by a committee. The committee is formed by the members of the EEPAP Network and the collaborator organization.
