First Residence Programme – 2012 - programme

The East European Performing Arts Platform is announcing an Open Call to apply for the First Residence Programme - 2012.

The EEPAP board, together with EEPAP Members and partner festivals, are now offering two separate two-week residencies for the autumn and winter of 2012. The target groups includes performing arts curators, critics, producers, playwrights and dramaturges.  

The residencies will take place during the 2012 editions of:

  • BITEF International Theatre Festival, Belgrade, Serbia more info: www.bitef.rs

Residency: BITEF 1 – September 10th to 23rd, 2012.
Residency code: BITEF – 1
Profile: performing arts curators, critics
Responsibilities: taking an active role in festival organizing activities and the dramaturgical coverage of the festival

Residency: BITEF 2 – October 22nd to November 8th, 2012.
Residency code: BITEF – 2
Profile: theatre producers
Responsibilities: : The resident will partake in production of the BITEF and Hartefact Fund performance Izopaceni, directed by Andrej Nosov. (www.hartefact.org)

Residency: MESS 1 – September 24th to October 7th, 2012.
Residency code: MESS – 1
Profile: festival producers, theatre producers, performing arts curators.
Responsibilities: taking an active role in festival organizing activities and the dramaturgical coverage of the festival.

Residency MESS 2 – October 2nd to October 10th, 2012
Residency code: MESS – 2
Profile: playwrights, dramaturges
Duties: participation in Mark Ravenhill’s Play-Writing Workshop

Residency: NITRA 1/2 – September 13th to September 27th, 2012
Residency code: NITRA 1/2
Profile: project managers, production managers in the field of performing arts
Responsibilities: international relations and project management – organization of the main festival programme and the festival’s international coproduction Parallel Lives

Residency: SLOV 1 – November 1st to November 16th, 2012
Residency code: SLOV – 1
Profile: theatre producers, project managers, international relations
Responsibilities : partaking in the productions of the Mladinsko and Glej theatres, cooperation with various theatre departments, working on international relation and promotion of the theatres

Residency: September 28th, 2012 – October 11th, 2012
Residence KTR 1
Residency code: KTR – 1
Profile: theatre and art critics, photographers/art-photographers
Responsibilities: the applicant shall be responsible for preparing writing relations and/or critical texts in Russian about the festival program and/or preparing of the artistic photo-material from the festival. The text and photo-material shall be used in promotion of  the festival.

Residency duration : October 6th – 21st, 2012
Residency code: TC – 1
Profile : festival producer
Responsibilities: participation in the preparation and implementation of the festival with special attention to the international guests. The residency will take place during the EEPAP meeting.
