The "Let’s integrate and animate!" workshop is a unique event focused on the creation of an animation movie. There is equal access to it for everyone, and the language of animation movies are understandable for everybody regardless of culture, background, age or skills. Education, place of living, being disabled or able-bodied – none of these factors matter. The workshop’s only prerequisite is that the applicants are hot-headed and ready to use their hearts, hands, feet or mouths to model, paint, and draw.

The workshop is offered to those who want and need to express themselves through art. The materials will comprise flour, salt, bread, paints, crayons etc. During the workshop you will learn what the production stages are, how to prepare scenarios, storyboards, and layout. You will be involved in drawing, scanning and composing and also doing montage and scoring. Your mentors will be the artists from the famous Miniature Film Studio from Warsaw. During the workshop you will create your own animation movie! Let’s integrate and animate!

Language of the Workshop: English

Target group:

  • 9 people physically disabled
  • 9 able-bodied people.

The recruitment process will be based on the following criteria: passion (people who love drawing, painting, modelling), experience in similar international activities (the organisers are hoping for participants who are new to such events). The offer will be addressed to physically disabled people and 9 able - bodied ones. Others also interested in the workshop’s topics can accompany the people with disabilities.

The organisers would like to invite people who come from disadvantaged areas who do not have access to rich cultural offers as may be found in big cities. They expect applicants who are curious of the world and are open for new challenges. Open-minded and interesting people who will find such anevent as an inspiration for their future activities are gladly encouraged to apply.

The organisers will analyse every application carefully, especially those from people with disabilities because we want to make sure we will be able provide the appropriate conditions and facilitate the necessary aid.  Basic knowledge of English is a prerequisite. The organisers wish for adult applicants.
