If you are a young scenographer, performer, architect or theorist under 35 years old interested in examine contemporary scenography, look for new forms of space for performative creation join us this September in Warsaw.

During first "SharedSpace" workshop that will take place from 25th until 27th September 2013 in Warsaw we will explore and rethink the political potential of contemporary theatre, performance, performing arts, installation and architecture.

Together with Joanna Warsza, Immanuel Schipper, prof. Dariusz Kosiński and Paweł Wodzinski we will share experience, examine how space is created in relation with politics.

Workshop will be in English language. The number of places is limited. Travel costs from Europe and accommodation will be covered by the organizer for selected participants.

Series of gatherings "SharedSpace: Music, Weather, Politics" that will take place in The Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw from September 2013 until November 2014 are part of the beginning phase of the Prague Quadrennial’s long-term exploration within the SharedSpace Music Weather Politics 2013 / 2016 project. The main goal of the project is to create a platform for investigation of contemporary scenography; to explore scenography as an interdisciplinary field and an active agent in the creation of spatial/performative/social relationships.

SharedSpace is organized by the Prague Quadrennial in cooperation with:
