Currently, the Centre is engaged in the organization of the Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” (November), the International Theatre Forum THEARTE (October), the “Golden Mask” theater project in Belarus and many other projects. The mission of all these projects is to broaden cultural space, raise the status and strengthen the image of our country on the international scene; activity in the sphere of theater, cinematography, music and fine arts.

The Belarus’ largest and most prestigious annual public film festival “Listapad” takes place at the beginning of November. The main purpose of the festival is to offer a wide selection of highly acclaimed feature films, documentaries from all over the world as well as new productions from Belarus. Recent titles and retrospectives can be viewed on screen.

The Minsk International Film Festival program has three sections - feature, documentary and children and youth. During one week, cinema goers have a possibility to watch more than 100 movies in 5 venues.

Also, special programs in focus, master-classes, seminars and other related events are presented.  Filmmakers, actors and supporters have the opportunity to form networks at various events. Q&A sessions with directors and actors follow every screening giving moviegoers first-hand access to the filmmaking process.

The International Theater Forum “Thearte” will be held for the first time in October 2011.

This Theater Forum will gladden Belarusian theater-connoisseurs by displaying a selection of the best performances from all over the world. There are no incidental titles in the playbill of “Theatre”.

Such directors as Alvis Hermanis, Oskaras Koršunovas, Grzegorz Jarzyna are world-famous and widely recognized as masters of theater in the XXI century. Alongside the theaters from Russia, Lithuania and Latvia, an ensemble of well-known theater companies from Korea and Argentina will also take part in the forum.
