Flying Low and Passing Through are dance and composition techniques created by choreographer David Zambrano. The key points of this practice are: ongoing research of spirles, in the body and in the space, study of intense relationship with the floor by using the power of dancer's feet, voice to command the body and energy, focusing on gathering and sending, passing through the space. Speed, risk and joy. The most important role plays the musicality of the body and ensamble composition as well how to express yourself fully and spontaniously.

Double Weekend Workshop, leaded by Malgorzata Haduch (50collectiVe) with guest of musicians Ksawery Wójciński and Pawel Postaremczak, is divided into two parts: 1st meeting is dedicated to pracitce changing levels in the Passing Through composition (so called under/over&around) and the 2nd weekend focuses on "Touch in looping" as well practice of improvised performance structures. Both weekends are accompanied by live music and every day warm up with Flying Low class.

Roots of the project:

The initiative of Malgorzata Haduch&Unfinished Company emerges from the project known as “50 days Costa Rica”- in the beginning of 2010, 50 dancers from all over the world studied for 50 days, in San Jose, Costa Rica, with the choreographer David Zambrano.

His intension within this intensive process was to give an impulse for young artists to adapt, transform and develop further the dance languague of Flying Low&Passing Through. Malgorzata Haduch was the only Polish dancer among 50 artists selected by David Zambrano for the “50 Days” project. After returning from Costa Rica she initiates practice of Flying Low and Passing Through from a desire to continue experimenting and developing further this particular dance vocabulary, recognized as an unique, original and playful language.

Her own individual approach focuses on using free jazz and improvised live music for this practice. In 2011 she was awarded with the scholarship of The Ministery of Culture and National Heritage to develop in Poland the “5of50” project which is one of many initiatives that spread around the world in the frame of 50collectiVe collaborations. In others „The passing Through Project” has realized performances and workshops in Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Cuba, Italy and the USA tour.
