From the organisers:

This is a creative project dedicated to one of the remarkable personalities of the 20th century - Giorgi Gurdjieff – “Gurdjieff and Contemporary Culture”, which includes a scientific conference, workshops, and performances.

The project is the initiative of Stichting Caucasus Foundation (SCF) and Fico Ballet together with international partners (SCF was the organizer of international conference and publication in 2007 “Gurdjieff in Tiflis”).

The aim of the project is to show the relation of contemporary arts forms and Gurdjieff. Two performances will be shown and several workshops will take place.

Batumi hosts the event because it was last city in Georgia (Caucasus) from where Gurdjieff departed to Europe through Constantinople.

You could take part as participant, speaker or observer – the number of participants is limited.

The deadline for request is 10th of August.
