Marche Teatro_Inteatro festival (Italy): International call for proposals 2017-2018

Marche Teatro_Inteatro festival launches an international call for proposals with the ambition of a deep insight in the contemporary scene in live arts, an extended exploration aimed at facilitating new encounters, starting unexpected dialogues and establishing new long term collaborations in the fields of contemporary live arts.
Marche Teatro_Inteatro festival international call looks for artists from all contemporary artistic live art fields proposing a critical approach on current reality, generating new perceptions, responding to actuality with dynamism, reflecting on emerging human territories, involving an heterogeneous audience, proposing works that sport a question mark.
The call is open to all performing arts formats.
The submitted proposals must be not premiered yet. Projects that have already been presented as a study, work in progress or open rehearsal may also be considered.
It is possible to present a proposal for one or more of the following activities: residency, programming, production, co-production.
Submitted projects must be realized by December 31, 2018.
An international observatory will evaluate and identify a selection of projects of interest.
Marche Teatro reserves the right to choose, among these, one or more proposal to be included in its activities (International Festival, Creative Residencies Program, International Production and Co-production Activities).
To apply, please send the following information:
- Filled in participation form;
- Detailed description of the artistic proposal (max 2 pages), with video links, pictures, sketches, and any other material considered as relevant to understand the applicant’s artistic universe;
- CV of the applicant and of all the persons involved in the project;
- Feasibility project (working schedule, executive and technical project, budget).

Marche Teatro is a consortium based in Ancona, active in the field of contemporary dance and theatre, promoting and producing national and international artistic projects, managing a research residency programme and programming in different venues. Inteatro Festival is an international festival of performing arts and a centre dedicated to artistic residencies in its headquarters in Villa Nappi, Polverigi.
