International Competition: 1 page, 1 view, 180 seconds (Creative approaches to dance theatre, dance, and movement)

The intention of the competition is to create a platform for the exchange of ideas around the themes of body expression and subjective views on dance. The competition is open to all parties. Submissions will be accepted in the form of literary pieces, photographs or films. The Organisers aim to provide space for the registration of creative approaches to dance theatre, dance, and movement. make the creative approach to the theatre of dance, dance and movement.

The Organisers invite entries in one of the three categories:

1) literary piece in Polish in the form of an essay, limerick or graphic line (1 A4 page);

2) photographic work on body expression, dance theatre and dance performance (1-5 photographs);

3) film on one of the following topics: dance reportage, body emotion / emotion in the body, dancing body (a film of up to 180 seconds).

Only previously unpublished works may be submitted for the competition.

The winning pieces will be awarded with prizes of PLN 2,000; PLN 1,000; and PLN 500, respectively, along with their publication on the Polish Dance Theatre website.

The prizes will be presented in Poznań on 16 December 2017.
