b12 - the new festival for contemporary dance and performance art in berlin 2018 - coming your way this summer running from June 25th through july 22nd. What started out as a small pilot project has grown into an event welcoming more than 45 research experts.
Performance projects, research and outreach: all formats are led by very skilled and dedicated teachers and choreographers from all around the world. We have carefully chosen our teachers in order to maintain a high level of professionalism and give this festival the cutting edge you expect from us. A large array of approaches awaits you.
Performance projects - a new format at b12!
This special setting gives you the opportunity to have an in-depth experience with one choreographer, working on an idea and presenting it in a performance setting. Each performance project is limited to around 17 people and spans over 12 days (sunday off). The pieces will be presented three times at dock 11, a black box theater in the center of berlin.
The application deadline is april 15th 2018. (A fee is charged.)
