2019 Women in Dance Leadership Conference is accepting choreography submissions by female choreographers to present their work at Mandell Theater in Philadelphia, PA with local, regional, national, and international presenters in the audience.

The 2019 Women in Dance Leadership Conference welcomes submissions in

Submission Deadline – January 31, 2019

Selection Confirmation Date – April 1, 2019

Conference Date – October 17 to October 19, 2019

Choreography Guideline –

Choreography must be created by female choreographer
Group (3 or more), Duet, or Solo work are all welcome
Time limit: Group (10-15 minutes) Duet or Solo (5-10 minutes)
Any genre is encouraged
A $20 application fee is required for each piece

Submission Guideline

Only submit a complete video of the work, please no excerpts or full evening work that needs edits
If submit a link that is password protected, please provide the correct password
Make sure your work does not exceed the maximum length
The submission is only complete once the application fee is processed through paypal or venmo

What is included for selected choreographer

Selected choreographers will present their work on 10/18/19 or 10/19/19
Selected choreographers will have access to all conference events
The performers from the selected work will have access to all conference events
There will be NO production fee once the work is accepted
The conference has invited artistic directors from major dance companies and professional festivals to attend the selected choreographer’s concerts

What’s not included

The selected choreographers and their performers will be responsible to pay for all of their travel and hotel expenses
