Open Call: Moving Images International Video Dance Festival (Nicosia, Cyprus)

We are happy to introduce our fifth edition of MovImages – an International video dance festival organized by Dance Lab Nicosia in collaboration with Egomio Cultural Centre. You can visit our website www.dancelabnicosia.com and find out who participated in our previous editions of Moving Images.The festival does not cover any travelling costs but we are happy to give invitation letters to all selected artists to facilitate funding for air tickets.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation which will be sent by e-mail at the end of the festival.
Videodance should be sent via online video link- vimeo or youtube only for the application. In case of selection you can send also by Dropbox and the festival team can download .
Length
- You can apply short videodances not more than 12’min.
- Medium-length films should be 13’-30’.
- There is no time limitation for feature-length dance films and documentaries
Video Selections
The final selection of the videos will be announced by 5TH OF August, 2019
Terms and Conditions
- Participants must be 18 years old to apply.
- By submitting a film, you agree that if the film is accepted for screening, short excerpts of it, still images or music may be used by MovImages or third-party claims in trailers or other video materials promoting MovImages videodance festival , 5th edition.
- The participants confirm and guarantee to hold all the copyrights and the authorization of the performers, artists and the crew involved in this whole work in order to apply to the Open Call.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moving Images Festival and its representatives from any and all claims, actions and judgments, including all costs of defense and attorney´s fees against any third-party.
- IMPORTANT| Title appears at the beginning of your videodance and all credits appear at the end of your film.
