INHABIT: Artist-in-Residence programme, Max Planck Institute

From the organisers:

The INHABIT program at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics fosters the exchange between artists and scientists and enables new and challenging perspectives towards the research at the institute. The new Artist-in-Residence program calls on artists interested in cooperating with scientists from the humanities and natural sciences who are active in aesthetics research. INHABIT invites artists from a wide range of visual and performing art disciplines for up to three months to develop a new work or elaborate on an existing project. Residents are expected to execute their project as a performance, exhibition or concert in cooperation with a local exhibition venue. During the artists’ residence in Frankfurt/Main, the MPIEA provides spaces and resources and thus facilitates an environment for experimentation, dialogue and collaboration.
