About the program:

Jardin d’Europe program and European network coordinated by danceWEB Vienna – a challenge for five years, embrace activities such as Residencies, scholarships, productions and festivals. Eastern and western European dance structures decides to used their experience, building a common infrastructure and activities supporting the emerging European dance scene.

About 4Culture:

4Culture is a non profit association based in Bucharest with the objectives to support the education of young artists, the research, production and dissemination of emerging creators in the field of contemporary art. 4Culture will start off from 2010, a series of education projects which are addressing to a large audience and participants, focusing on the young generation from the rural areas of Bucharest, and main cities of Romania.

4Culture is member of IETM network, Jardin d’Europe and Balkan Dance Platform.

The residency includes :

  • 3 weeks at WASP studios (4-5 hours/day)
  • dramaturgical support
  • a final public presentation

4Culture covers the following expenses:

  • accommodation
  • international travel (max. EUR 500) 
  • financial support: EUR 1000

Application requirements:

  • updated CV, project description, links to previous works (if applicable)
  • applicants will indicate the requested period (at least 2 options)
