East European Performing Arts Platform (EEPAP) supports the
development of contemporary performing arts (dance and theatre)
in 18 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Auditions for the Dance Start Up international dance training programme - Berlin and Bologna
Audition dates: 21th February in Berlin and 28th Frbruary in Bologna
Dance Start Up VII is an international dance training programme, lasting 8 months from October 2016 to May 2017 for a total of 960h . The platform offers a knowledge-intensive training in different disciplines, giving each participant the opportunity to challenge himself or herself with daily lessons of classical and contemporary dance, choreographic composition and improvisation. Every month, seminars and workshops will be held by international artists like:
- Eduardo Torroja | Ultima Vez Company
- David Zambrano | Fly Low and Passing Through
- Erion Kruja | Dancer of Hofesh Shechter Company
- Brigel Gjoka | Choreographer, Frm Dancer The Forsythe Company (Forsythe Improvisation & Choreographic Research)
- Gentian Doda | Choreographer and first ballet Master of the Staatsballet Berlin (Rep. Nacho Duato / Gentian Doda)
- Teri Weikel | Feldenkrais® method
- Maria Martinez | Experiential Anatomy method BCM®
- Anna Albertarelli and Prof. Roberto Penzo | theater – dance and disability
- Enrico Pitozzi | Dance and Technology seminar
- Patrick Rump | Sports science
The programme includes the participation in various projects organized by Leggere Strutture such as artistic residencies and performances. The participants will be involved in the Dance & Technology research project called “Project Work” experiencing the innovative Touch Designer software.
Dance Start Up aims at supporting the career path of each attendee by providing information about companies and auditions, mentoring and advising through each step of the job search process.
Admission is subject to audition on invitation.
