Breaking 8 - International festival of video Dance submission are open

Share your work, share your perspective on the ever-evolving genre of videodance. Breaking8 does not include a competition. The selected works will be screened during the international contemporary dance festival FIND, from 01/10/2016 to 01/11/2016 and a restricted selection will be presented in our international partners’ festivals.
Video dance is a boundless, multifarious and everchanging genre. The artistic dimension of the body in movement can be interpreted in infinite forms through the medium of cinema, from short films and videoart to videoclips.
The International Festival of Video Dance Breaking 8 stems as a collateral project from the thirty- four years history of the FIND- contemporary dance international festival, with the aim of spreading the culture of dance, to learn and diffuse the knowledge of diverse artists and works.
Breaking 8 wants to stimulate research and creative connections, not only among filmmakers, choreographers, performers, musicians, videoartists and international festivals, but also in spreading ideas, in bringing to the public a glimpse of what is happening and evolving in this form of art worldwide, to experience the world of contemporary dance in its many facets.
