Ravnedans are searching for choreographic works for our festival edition nr. 10!
We hereby invite professional artists within the field of dance and performance to apply. The Open Call is this year for shorter works that will be part of the site specific performance in Ravnedalen, a large park close to Kristiansand city center. We are searching for finished works from artists that have interest in adapting their piece for a given venue in Ravnedalen, and in conversation with representatives from the festival. For this reason we are also interested in hearing how you imagine to adapt the work.

Genre: Contemporary Dance / Performance Art
Who: Applicants must be professional stage performers. We especially encourage young artists to apply.

The applications will be read by an artistic council put together for this years Open Call specifically. The council will consist of a mix between two representatives from Ravnedans programmers together with the three invited programmers; Sunniva Vikør Egenes, Magnus Myhr and Michelle Flagstad.
We are normally privileged with a large number of applications. We therefore ask you to read the guidelines on the application form carefully. Applications that do not follow the guidelines and has not filled out the complete application form are not guaranteed to be considered.

The festival does hosting mostly in apartments and houses, and you will most likely be living together with other artists involved in the festival.
You will hear back from us around December. The festival is now applying for the last fundings for this specific concept and we will normally be ready to sign final contract during Februar - March when our budget is final.
