East European Performing Arts Platform (EEPAP) supports the
development of contemporary performing arts (dance and theatre)
in 18 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Internships in GfZK Leipzig for young curators from Ukraine. Deadline: 31 May
Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig (GfZK) and the Kulturstiftung of des Freistaates Sachsen are providing a grant for a one-year internship in the GfZK for young curators from Ukraine with a good knowledge of German. The grantee will obtain 1.000,00 euro monthly, and the GfZK will provide accommodation for the duration of the internship. The start date is 1 September 2015.
The scholarship is closely tied to the program of the GfZK. The internship offers the opportunity to actively participate in the run of the exhibition program and to make a contribution. The scholarship holder should develop a project in the context of the institution. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of different teaching strategies.
A detailed CV, a motivation letter and a description of the candidate's field of interest (not longer than one A4 page) - in German - should be sent by May 31, 2015, to the address of the GfZK with the annotation "scholarship for CURATORS and CURATORS from Eastern Europe".
