Through the MOVING BODY Platform Video Screening, we open a window for Bulgarian audiences to look into the work of dance artists around the world. In this virtual registration desk, you can submit your application in response to the open call, to present your dance videos at MOVING BODY’19. We are interested in innovative video artworks created through the crossbreeding of dance and video media. All filmmakers, audiovisual artists, choreographers, dancers, creatives, professionals and students of these disciplines, are invited to submit their dance films and video dance works.
This year, after a precise selection, several films will be rewarded with an achievement diploma for contribution to the evolving and intriguing field which brings dance/movement and film/video together.
MOVING BODY will strive to also organise a film tour, travelling to the major cities in Bulgaria, but also to the smallest hidden villages in our country to screen selections from the programme.
