National Centre for Dance in Bucharest: Contemporary Dance Camp 2018 (9-26 July, Craiova, Romania)

BMF

Application deadline: May 3, 2018

The National Centre for Dance in Bucharest is delighted to announce one of its premier educational projects: The Contemporary Dance Camp 2018! This choreographic research and artistic exploration initiative aims to offer - via a summer camp - practice residencies and contexts for reflection to choreographers who have created at least 2 personal works.

Organised in Southern Romania, in the city of Craiova, between July 9 and July 26, 2018, the summer camp will become an educational and artistic framework for applied choreographic development. The participants will have the opportunity to engage in a creative and assessment dialogue with important names from the Romanian and international contemporary choreographic scenes, such as Jan Burkhardt, Mădălina Dan, Mihaela Michailov, Sandra Noeth and Constanze Schellow.

All the workshops will take place in English, and the participants' selection (a maximum of 12 people) will be made by the mentors and the CNDB team. The organisers offer food and lodging, while each participant must pay for his/her transport fees.

The participation fee is 300 euros and CNDB offers two scholarships that cover its full cost. For more info about how to apply, click here.
