Open Call: Doozika 2016 competition for most interesting emerging worldwide artists

BMF

Deadline: September 30th, 2016

For the 6st time, Doozika is inviting entries for the competition to find the most interesting emerging worldwide artists.

This year’s edition is addressed to those who present interest in unique demarches, and will focus on socially engaged projects that are provocative, inquisitive and contribute to the ongoing conversation of race and representation in contemporary art and society.

In particular it will engage with artists who pair their observations with new media technologies to produce their art projects.

This competition aims to give the impetus and opportunity to artists (Painting, Installation, Mixed media, Video art as well as Experimental Dance and Performance) to work between the boundaries of Contemporary Art.

Submit your artworks

The submission is open to all artists: there are no restrictions regarding the age or nationality of the applicant.  Also groups and collectives are accepted to participate.

There are no entry fees: submitting projects to Doozika 2016 is absolutely free of charge.

  • The deadline for proposals is September 30th 2016.
  • The shortlist will be announced in October 2016. The judging panel is to be announced shortly.
