CURRENT TRENDS in Visegrad performing arts scene.

EXCHANGE OF IDEAS, CRITICAL REFLECTION, DEBATE FORUM, NETWORKING.

Presentation of VISEGRAD and UKRAINIAN PERFORMANCES and FILMS.

ADN aims to contribute to the development of artistic reflection, which is almost ceasing to exist in many Central and Eastern European countries. ADN therefore answers this challenge with a project V4@THEATRE – DIVADELNÁ NITRA 2015 RESIDENCY which intends to support and nurture the CRITICAL THINKING ABOUT ART AND ITS REFLECTION, to encourage YOUNG THEATRE PROFESSIONALS FROM VISEGRAD COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE TO COMMUNICATE AND EXCHANGE BOTH INTERNATIONALY AND INTERDISCIPLINARY, and to support international NETWORKING, allowing for new INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE.

The residency gives the opportunity to participants to professionally develop under the mentorship of highly acclaimed expert – French theatre critic and theorist Patrice Pavis. In return, they will actively contribute to the festival´s programme:

V4@THEATRE AGORA - DISCUSSIONS OPEN TO PUBLIC will feature their presentations on CURRENT TRENDS AND THEMES ON THE PERFORMING ARTS SCENE IN V4 COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE. Furthermore, they will discuss and reflect on the festival theme as presented in the festival´s productions as well as in other creations by V4 artists.
