You can now apply to Forecast - an international platform for emerging talents
Forecast is novel collaboration platform that promotes international emerging talents, taking place in 2015/16 at HKW – Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin.
Artists, curators, designers, composers, photographers, performers or architects from all over the world are invited to collaborate with one of six Forecast mentors. The mentors are ready to give any assistance needed: all of them being inspiring, open-minded and experienced in various fields of creative production.
To be a part of Forecast, submit your application until March 31st.
In August 2015 (28th – 30th) each mentor will gather five of the applicants for the public Forecast Forum at HKW in Berlin. As a participant you present your project idea and exchange thoughts. You will get feedback from your mentor as well as from artists and progressive thinkers from all over the world, and you will broaden your network. These three days of workshops and presentations will form the matrix for developing and enhancing your project.
The six best projects will be awarded an extended one-on-one-collaboration: From September to February 2016, you – as one of the six – will have the chance to work closely with your personal mentor.
In February 2016 (26th – 28th), the six tandems will present their individual projects during the Forecast Festival at HKW: performances, presentations or installations of any format will be showcased to the public.

Whether you’re studying, starting your career or exploring new methods that need an open space, inspiration and encouragement – tell us what you have in mind! Forecast does not impose any restrictions on the application process: No matter your age, education, gender, cultural, religious or national background – what counts are your ideas alone.
As an admitted participant of Forecast you will benefit from a travel allowance and a production budget to realize your project. Your advancement being the core of our interest, we will do our utmost to support your individual career.
