South Caucasus Contemporary Dance and Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi, 4-7 June 2015 (Georgia)
South Caucasus Contemporary Dance and Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi was created in 2012 to promote contemporary dance and to provide a platform for experimental art. The initiator and organizer of the Festival is Platform for Changes, a Georgian non-governmental organization which aims to strengthen the role of culture in social change in the South Caucasus region and to deepen dialogue and interaction between artists internationally by expanding the discourse on innovative artistic practices and varying modes of presentation.
The East European Performing Arts Platform (EEPAP) is the co-organiser of the festival and the organiser of two festival events: the performance "Acts" by Aurora Lubos and dance workshops conducted by the same artist.
The Festival programme has two major directions: contemporary dance and experimental art.
