Program

The program includes two thematic modules:

  1. Production and role of the curator - 38 hours of classes preparing the student for work in cultural institutions (producer, curator, spokesperson) and educational institutions.
  2. Drama - 40 hours of classes on how to cooperate with theaters (literary manager and playwright/dramaturgist)

For those persons interested in continuing their work with the laboratory (higher education) SWPS offer postgraduate courses that will be rewarded with a diploma. The two aforementioned modules must be completed before starting a postgraduate course.

Program directors and teachers

Head of the Laboratory prof. nadzw. dr hab. Krystyna Duniec – professor in the Department of History and Theory of Theatre of Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, prominent expert on theater and contemporary culture. The teachers are lecturers from PAN and the Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute, the Polish Cultural Institute and EEPAP (East European Performing Arts Platform).
