MAAT Festival Kantor Now 2015 - Experimental Dance Festival, Lublin & Kraków, Poland, 3-13.12.2015

BMF

VII Maat Festival! KANTOR NOW! 3-6 grudnia Centrum Kultury w Lublinie 10-13 Cricoteka Kraków! from Maat Project on Vimeo.

The seventh edition of MAAT FESTIVAL - the first Polish platform residence. This is the third year when we give our festival spaces to resident artists who search for their own instruments to study dance. Once again they will create stage performances and unique film documents which are inextricably linked to the process of working with # body - a correlated space - the search for pure choreography, derived from the processual image of the body as an object.

Year 2015 is dedicated to Tadeusz Kantor and his art, which had an enormous influence on art in Poland and abroad. This is a special year to celebrate, but also to pay special attention to Kantor as a reformer, multidisciplinary creator who promoted an extended and close observation of reality.
