Enrolled in the graduate school GITIS in Moscow where he prepared to write a thesis named "The function of the symbol in the dramatic text", but was forced to stop his training due to the collapse of the Soviet
After working as a technical consultant at Bosch Automotive for years, Harutyun Alpetyan switched his professional interest over to arts. He had for years, even during his career as an engineer, created video documentary clips and finally saw an opportunity to shift his focus onto his artistic work.
