EVGENIY KORNIAG - director

Short biography: 

EVGENIY KORNIAG was born in 1983 in Minsk.

He graduated from Belarusian State Academy of Arts, the "Puppet Theatre Actor" course (professor:  Alexei Lelyavsky), in 2005 and worked at Belarussian State Puppet Theater between 2005 and 2007. He then moved to Maxim Gorky National Academic Drama Theatre in Minsk, and then obtained a Master's Degree at in Theatre Directing at Moscow Art Theatre and Meyerhold Centre. In 2010, he organised Korniag Theatre. Between 2011 and 2013, he taught acting techniques and stage movement at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

2013 - Plastic performance "Latent Men" (Minsk)

2013 - Director and choreographer at "Music, Dances and Impressive Lighting – "Together" in the Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv  (Plovdiv – Candidate for European Capital of Culture 2019 Program).

2014 - Plastic performance "On the Other Side," a joint project with the Chorea Theater (Lodz, Poland), director and choreographer.
